Cooperate with UTS, UCC, University of Macau

The UTS Law Joint International Training Program is a degree program jointly offered by Guangdong University of Technology(GDUT)and the University of Technology Sydney(UTS),a world-top 100 university.The program follows a“3+1”or“3+2”dual-degree model,wherein GDUT is responsible for the domestic curriculum instruction as outlined in the training plan,and UTS is responsible for the overseas curriculum instruction.Students who simultaneously meet the graduation and degree conferral requirements of both universities will be awarded a bachelor’s degree certificate and a bachelor’s diploma from Guangdong University of Technology,as well as a master’s degree from the University of Technology Sydney.

Our faculty has long maintained close exchanges with the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau(UM),building a solid foundation for cooperation.In 2023,Vice President Du Chengming of our university led a delegation to UM for research and in-depth discussions on talent cultivation and scientific research collaboration.Dean Tang Xiaojing of UM Faculty of Law has visited our faculty multiple times for lectures and academic exchanges.Currently,three outstanding teachers trained by UM Faculty of Law are teaching at our faculty,serving as a bridge for academic heritage between the two institutions.A number of our students have been recommended for admission to UM for further studies without examination,and several of our teachers have visited UM as visiting scholars.The two sides continue to deepen cooperation in faculty development,student advancement,and academic research.Recently,our faculty organized study tours to UM for students from our featured programs(the China-Australia Class and the Innovation Class),with strong support from Senior Instructor Liang Jingheng,Assistant Professor Weng Wenting,and others.In the future,the two faculties will work together to cultivate more compound foreign-related rule-of-law talents for the Greater Bay Area.
