On December 11, with the support and guidance of the university's International Exchange Office, our school held a consultation meeting with University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, on an international joint training program. Professor Mark Poustie, Dean of the School of Law at UCC, Professor Huang Rong, Director of the International Exchange Office, Professor Chen Youwu, Dean of our school, and Professor Li Zhiming, Associate Dean, attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Director Huang Rong of the International Exchange Office. Both parties first gave brief presentations on their respective educational programs, faculty resources, and rankings. In-depth discussions were then conducted on several programs, including the "3+1" undergraduate program, the "3+1+1" integrated bachelor's-master's program, and the "4+1" master's program. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on joint training and exchange, and committed to actively advancing the implementation of these initiatives.

The meeting achieved substantive progress and represents an important measure by our school in implementing the spirit of the document "Opinions of the Ministry of Education and Seven Other Departments on Accelerating and Expanding the Opening-Up of Education in the New Era," as well as the spirit of the university's research meeting on international joint training programs. It has further promoted the high-quality development of our university's international joint training capacity and holds milestone significance in our school's pursuit of international exchange and collaborative education.
