On February 27, 2024, with the support and guidance of the university's Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, our school held a discussion with Dr. Su Kanghua, President of the Australia-China International Cultural Exchange Association, and his team members regarding the cooperative education program between our school's law program and the University of Western Australia. Dr. Su Kanghua, President of the Australia-China International Cultural Exchange Association, Deputy Director Cao Feng of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Dean Chen Youwu of our school, Director Wang Hua of the International Exchange Department, Director Yang Ling of the Teaching Services Department, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Cao Feng of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. Dean Chen Youwu introduced the overall development of the school, the background of launching Sino-foreign cooperative education in the law program, and the preparatory work already undertaken to advance this initiative. He expressed the hope of signing and implementing a cooperation agreement with the University of Western Australia as soon as possible. President Su Kanghua presented the efforts made by the University of Western Australia to promote cooperative education with our school and provided an overview of relevant matters concerning the partnership. After in-depth discussions, both parties expressed their commitment to further finalizing the specific details of the cooperation, with the aim of signing the agreement and advancing the partnership at the earliest opportunity.

The meeting achieved significant progress and represents yet another important measure by our school in implementing the spirit of the document "Opinions of the Ministry of Education and Seven Other Departments on Accelerating and Expanding the Opening-Up of Education in the New Era," as well as the spirit of the university's research meeting on international joint training programs. It has further promoted the high-quality development of our university's international joint training capacity and holds important significance in our school's pursuit of international exchange and collaborative education.
