Brief Biography

Lizhiming, member of the Communist Party of China, Professor, PhD, Master’s Supervisor and Arbitrator. Currently, he serves as Vice Dean of the Law School of Guangdong University of Technology, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Social Work and Management, Graduate Teaching Supervisor of the university, Member of the 5th Sub-committee of the 7th Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of the university, and Executive Director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Collaborative Governance and Legal Protection Research Center (a provincial social science research base in Guangdong Province). He has published 3 monographs and textbooks, and a number of academic papers in newspapers and journals including China Legal Science (English Edition), Law Review, Political Science and Law, Journal of Wuhan University, Journal of Hunan Normal University and People’s Court Daily. He has presided over a number of vertical research projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice, the China Law Society, etc., and won the Third Prize for Outstanding Social Science Achievements at the Provincial Level and the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements at the Municipal Level. The courses he teaches, such as Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law and Jurisprudence, have been rated as excellent by the university, and he has guided master’s students to win the Provincial Excellent Master’s Thesis Award. He holds social positions including Vice President of the Pharmaceutical and Food Law Research Association of Guangdong Law Society, Vice President of the Corporate Compliance Research Association of Guangdong Law Society, Vice President of the Hong Kong and Macao Basic Law Research Association of Guangdong Law Society, Legislative Consulting Expert of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Guangdong Province, Evaluation Expert of the Construction of Law-based Government in Guangdong Province, Expert of Social Stability Risk Assessment for Major Decisions in Guangzhou City, Arbitrator of Zhaoqing Arbitration Commission, and Arbitrator of the Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Commission of Tianhe District, Guangzhou City.
