Brief Biography

Educational Background:

Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, USA

Doctor of Philosophy from University of Hong Kong successively,

Postdoctoral research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Work Experience:

Currently, he serves as Director of the Social Work Practice Teaching and Research Section of the Law School of Guangdong University of Technology and Director of the Social Work Practice Teaching and Research Section. His main research expertise includes social work for persons with disabilities, youth social work, family social work, and social service project evaluation. He is mainly engaged in research on social work methods for persons with disabilities, action research on the relationship of disabled families and research on positive youth development.

He has many years of academic research experience overseas and has participated in academic research in Hong Kong and Macao, including 1 research project funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and 1 research project funded by the Hong Kong Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Foundation. In terms of domestic research projects, he has presided over 1 National Social Science Fund Project and a number of provincial and department-level scientific research projects. He has participated in a number of provincial and ministerial-level projects and department-level projects. In terms of paper publication, he has published more than 20 papers in SSCI, CSSCI, publicly issued international academic journals and domestic academic journals, and published 6 conference papers in international forums of social sciences in the United States, Thailand and Hong Kong.
