Dec 15, 2025

On the afternoon of October 28, Cao Feng, Deputy Director of the University’s International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and Deng Li, Section Chief of the same office, visited our faculty to offer guidance and discuss the "New Youth · UN Asia-Pacific Headquarters On-site Exchange Program" and related work. Attending the meeting were Zhu Yuanyuan, Vice Dean of our faculty; Chen Jia, Deputy Party Secretary of the faculty; Wang Hua, Director of the International Exchange Department; and Yang Yongliang, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Department.

During the meeting, Cao Feng introduced the Program, noting it’s designed to offer students practical experience at international organizations. The program features participation in global conferences like the Global Peace Summit, helping students broaden their global outlook and cross-cultural communication abilities. Deng Li then shared details about the program’s rollout.Additionally, the meeting included in-depth talks about the Sino-Australian Program’s current state, progress, and challenges. These talks centered on collaborating to enhance the program’s teaching quality and boost the school’s international education efforts.

Furthermore, the University of Technology Sydney also hosted a freshman welcome ceremony that day, with Yang Yongliang in attendance. The event included Rita Wang, a program advisor from the University of Technology Sydney, and Dr. Su Kanghua, President of the Australia-China International Cultural Exchange Association. The ceremony covered campus facilities, core course modules, and key academic planning tips, offering guidance to help students make a smooth transition to overseas studies.

These two events effectively aligned with the needs of Sino-foreign cooperation, bolstering the foundation for inter-university collaboration while supporting student growth. And they played a key role in elevating the quality and impact of our school’s international education.
