To implement the series of guiding principles of the Party and the State on the strategies of building a cyber power and developing the digital economy, and to serve the needs of Guangdong’s digital economy development, the Guangdong Provincial Social Science Research Base “Network and Data Rule of Law Research Center” was officially established.With the Law School as its primary supporting unit, the Center integrates the relevant advantageous disciplines of Guangdong University of Technology. It conducts collaborative research focusing on the developing technology and the future intelligent society, with an emphasis on legal theories and practical issues arising from new technological transformations. The Center will strive to develop into a leading research center and key think tank for Guangdong, which is future-oriented and intelligent, supporting government decision-making and management, and providing consulting and governance services for enterprises.
