The Digital Economy and Data Governance Laboratory is a Key Laboratory of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Guangdong Province.
Centering on in-depth research into the theories and practices of the digital economy, the Laboratory fully leverages the engineering strengths of Guangdong University of Technology to explore the integration of engineering and liberal arts for the development of New Liberal Arts and New Engineering. It strives to build itself into a benchmark model for the interdisciplinary integration of engineering and liberal arts, as well as a comprehensive liberal arts laboratory with distinctive features in South China that integrates theoretical research, talent cultivation, and social services. The Laboratory comprises four major branches, among which the “Data Rule of Law and Big Data Governance Experiment” (Branch) is primarily supported by the Law School.
