Since 2006, the professionalization and vocationalization of social work in China have entered a stage of rapid development, and the practice and research on the mutually reinforcing development of social work and social organizations have flourished. Founded in 2013, the Center conducts research based on our university’s “National Social Work Professional Talent Training Base”, “Provincial Social Work Talent Training Base in Guangdong” and cooperative bases. Its team consists of experts, scholars, and practitioners from inside and outside the university who are interested in research on the theory, policy, practice, management, and digitalization of social work and social organization development. The center carries out research, guidance, training, exchange, and discussion activities, providing support for the development of disciplines such as social work at our university.
