Brief Biography
Yan Yu, Doctor of Laws, Professor. She graduated from Beijing Normal University in 2014 with a Doctor of Laws degree. She has presided over 6 scientific research projects including national, provincial and municipal-level social science planning projects, covering fields such as cyber gang-related crimes, law-based business environment and criminal victim assistance. She has published more than 10 representative scientific research achievements, including a number of papers in CSSCI journals, Chinese core journals and monographs. Her research focuses on criminal law post-conviction restoration, cybercrime and ecological compliance. She undertakes the teaching of 4 courses including Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law, with good teaching results. She has won many academic and teaching awards such as the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Beijing Normal University, and the Second Prize in the Guangdong Provincial Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition.
