Brief Biography

He has long been engaged in physical education teaching and management in universities, and is currently Dean of the School of Physical Education at GDUT, Doctor of Education, Outstanding Teacher of Guangdong Province (Nanyue), Leader of a Top-tier Course in Guangdong Province, and a University-level Famous Teacher. He has presided over 1 project funded by the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), 4 provincial and ministerial-level projects (including Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, Guangdong Provincial Social Science Fund) and 5 departmental/bureau-level projects, and participated as a key member in completing 5 projects (including NSSFC, National Education Science Planning Project) and more than 10 other provincial and ministerial-level projects. He has also led the development of 1 provincial-level high-quality resource-sharing course, 1 provincial-level teaching reform project, and 2 university-level teaching teams. As the sole or first author, he has published more than 60 papers in journals such as Journal of Physical Education, Journal of Shanghai University of Sport, Journal of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, and Gansu Social Sciences. He has edited and published 4 textbooks and monographs, and contributed to another 4. He has won 1 third prize of the National Excellent Achievements in Educational Science Research, 2 third prizes of Provincial-level Scientific Research Achievements, 2 first prizes and 3 second prizes of University-level Teaching Achievement Awards.
