On the afternoon of October 22, Jiang Bin, full-time vice-chairman and secretary-general of Guangdong Province Law Society, and Zheng Guiqiong, director of the Research Branch, visited our school for investigation and guidance. Du Chengming, Vice President of our university, Wang Mingliang, Vice Dean of the Research Institute attended the investigation meeting. Shao Junwu, Dean of our school, reported to the guests on the history, key points, characteristics and forward-looking direction of the development of the legal discipline in our school.

Vice President of the society, Jiang Bin gave careful guidance to the construction of our school's legal discipline. He stressed that our school should give full play to the advantages of talents and offer suggestions for the construction of Guangdong ruled by law and the promotion of good laws and good governance. In social services, we should strengthen school-local cooperation and actively participate in local legislation. In academic research, we should strengthen cross integration and vigorously promote the research on data rule of law. In participating in social governance, we should aim at the forefront and hot spots and strive to provide legal protection for intelligent social governance. In the platform construction, we should deepen the cooperation with Guangdong Province Law Society, build a characteristic research base, actively undertake high-level academic conferences, and expand the influence of school running. Du Chengming, Vice President of our university, thanked Guangdong Province Law Society for its concern and support for the work of our school. He said that our university would further refine the direction of the law discipline, optimize the talent team of the discipline, integrate and expand the discipline resources, and accelerate the characteristic development and high-quality development of the law discipline with the strong support of Guangdong Province Law Society.
