On October 31, the 8th Guangdong University Counselor Quality and Ability Competition sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Education Department was successfully concluded, and our counselor, Teacher Wang Dandan, won the first prize.

The finals were divided into two parts: case analysis and heart-to-heart talk. The theoretical level, professional accomplishment, research and judgment ability, expression ability and ability to solve practical problems of the contestants were investigated in an all-round and multi-dimensional way. A total of 15 first-prize winners, 30 second-prize winners, 45 third-prize winners and 60 winning prizes were produced. Teacher Wang Dandan, the counselor of our college, responded calmly and performed well. She stood out among 400 counselors from 112 universities in the province and won the first prize, which fully demonstrated the comprehensive quality and spirits of our college's academic team.
