To promote the high-quality development of human rights research in our school and support the pace of international joint training construction. On December 29, 2023, Dean Chen Youwu and Vice Dean Zhu Yuanyuan of the School of Law at Guangdong University of Technology, Director Wang Hua of the International Exchange Department and Director of the Law Department, Gan Yuhuan, and Director Yang Ling of the Teaching Service Department of the School visited the Institute of Human Rights and the School of Law at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics for a symposium and exchange meeting, to deeply exchange and explore research results and cooperation on human rights between the two sides, as well as the construction experience of international joint training. Received by Vice Dean Xie Wei, Deputy Secretary Fang Jiyong, Assistant Dean Zhu Shu, Professor Dai Jingtao, Professor Meng Guobi, and Professor Yuan Xinnan from the Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics.

During the symposium, both sides exchanged and discussed their respective human rights research achievements and the current status of international joint training. At the Human Rights Research Institute, Deng Shibao, Director of the Guangcai Research Office, and Dean Chen of our institute respectively introduced the development achievements of human rights research in their respective colleges; At the Law School, Vice Secretary and Vice Dean Xie of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics focused on introducing Guangdong University of Finance and Economics 's international joint training program. Dean Chen and Vice Dean Zhu of our school raised the issues encountered in our joint education program, and both sides had in-depth discussions on how to set up and carry out each link of joint training.

After the symposium and exchange meeting, our institute presented college gifts to the Human Rights Research Institute and Law School of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and the attendees from both sides took a group photo.
