Brief Biography

Yan’an, is an Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor, Top Ten Teachers in Teaching and Most Popular Teacher among Students in the Department of Social Work, Guangdong University of Technology. She also serves as Vice Chairman of the Horticultural Therapy Division of the Mental Health Working Committee of the China Association of Social Workers, Vice President of the Guangdong Association of Social Workers, and Chairman of the Guangzhou Sunshine Social Work Service Center. She was selected as one of the Top Ten Social Work Figures of China in 2014, an Expert in drafting industry standard documents of social work by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, an Excellent Social Work Tutor of Guangdong Province in 2012, an Expert in the construction of social work professional talent team in Guangdong Province, and a candidate for the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand Talents Project” in the ideological field of Guangdong Province. She serves as an expert in the demonstration of social work documents, government procurement evaluation and social work project evaluation in Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Foshan, Zhuhai and other cities. She actively participates in social work supervision, training and lectures, and strives to promote the development of social work. She has presided over more than 30 social work scientific research projects, published more than 30 academic papers, and won a number of national-level paper awards issued by the Central Organization Department, the China National Committee on Aging and the China Association of Gerontology.
